They wanted a fresh approach, something modern, fun, and welcoming that would resonate with today’s travelers. I partnered with their team to redesign the website and reimagine their chatbot experience, transforming both touchpoints into something more intuitive and engaging.

They needed a refreshed digital presence that felt trustworthy, easy to navigate, and visually distinct from traditional insurance providers. Plus a chatbot needed to feel conversational and approachable, like chatting with a real person, not a robot.

The refreshed digital experience positioned Travel Defend as a more approachable and trustworthy brand. The website is now easier to navigate and visually inviting, while the chatbot adds a personal, playful layer to the customer journey, helping travellers feel cared for from the start.

I designed a clean, modern website with a conversational tone, intuitive layout, and friendly color palette that breaks away from the typical insurance mold. For the chatbot, I helped shape the UX and tone of voice, adding microcopy, visuals, and animated gifs to make users feel like they were chatting with a helpful friend.
