They wanted a fresh approach, something modern, fun, and welcoming that would resonate with today’s travelers. I partnered with their team to redesign the website and reimagine their chatbot experience, transforming both touchpoints into something more intuitive and engaging.

Travel Defend’s mission is unique, but their previous site didn’t reflect the brand’s helpful, human approach. They needed a refreshed digital presence that felt trustworthy, easy to navigate, and visually distinct from traditional insurance providers. Plus a chatbot needed to feel conversational and approachable, like chatting with a real person, not a robot.

The refreshed digital experience positioned Travel Defend as a more approachable and trustworthy brand. The website is now easier to navigate and visually inviting, while the chatbot adds a personal, playful layer to the customer journey, helping travellers feel cared for from the start.

I designed a clean, modern website with a conversational tone, intuitive layout, and friendly color palette that breaks away from the typical insurance mold. For the chatbot, I helped shape the UX and tone of voice, adding microcopy, visuals, and animated gifs to make users feel like they were chatting with a helpful friend.
