OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

My ADHD BFF is an Instagram series where I use playful, comic-style illustrations to share everyday ADHD experiences. The project was born out of a desire to make ADHD easier to understand, turning abstract challenges into visual stories that are approachable, lighthearted, and easy to share.

CHALLENGE

CHALLENGE

ADHD is often misunderstood or dismissed, and explaining its impact in everyday life can be difficult. The challenge was to capture these experiences in a way that was engaging and empathetic without feeling heavy or overly clinical.

OUTCOME

OUTCOME

The series has resonated with people who see their experiences reflected in the visuals. It also bridges the gap between education and emotion, making ADHD relatable, human, and sometimes even funny.

SOLUTION

SOLUTION

I created a visual style built on simple linework, soft colors, and comic-like vignettes. Each illustration highlights a single ADHD moment, paired with short captions that add context or humor. By balancing vulnerability with playfulness, the series makes ADHD traits recognizable and relatable while avoiding stereotypes.
